Dr. Gregory Prudhomme is the General Manager at the Racquet Club of Irvine in Southern California, which is a private club with 28 courts (22 hard and 6 clay courts). He is also a Mental Performance Coach for athletes and career professionals as well as a university sport psychology doctoral instructor. Prudhomme earned his PhD in Psychology with an Emphasis in Performance Psychology, he is an Elite-certified USPTA/RSPA Professional, and he is the Coach Developer for the Southwest Division. During his time as a college coach his teams have won eleven NCAA Division,I conference championships, they have qualified for the nationals’ multiple times, and he has earned over 20 ‘coach of the year’ awards. He has also been named ‘National College Coach of the Year’ from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and the United States Professional Tennis Association. Dr. Prudhomme is often a guest speaker in the areas of tennis and mental performance. He has spoken nationally and regionally to organizations including the USPTA, USTA, Xendurance, the International Sport Sciences Association, Tignum, and more. As a player, he earned a Division I scholarship, he held a world ranking for 3 years, he was ranked as high as #11 in the US and was ranked #1 in the Southwest Section in singles, doubles, and mixed. Prudhomme’s wife, Mandy, is also a certified USPTA/RSPA Professional while their children, Tatum, Autum, and Liam, are former college tennis players.
